Cactus Lodge Camping
Located in the beautiful region of the Baix Ebre near the Catalan village of Bitem, nestled on the banks of the River Ebro, we offer a glamping site to suit. The setting is a quiet Olive and carob grove nestled into pine-covered mountains. You can feel far away from everything, but everything is quite close.
The beautiful beaches of Costa Dorda are only a short drive away, and the site is encircled by mountains and lush wildlife, making it perfect for exploring by foot or bicycle.
Glampers can spend a day in the historic city of Tortosa, which is only 10 minutes away.
The Bell tents
During the spring and summer seasons, we offer three bell tents. The family tent accommodates four people, and both the Hill Top Hideaway and the spaciously laid out safari bell tents are for two. The tents are built on decks and securely anchored to the ground, these luxurious tent make camping in the outdoors comfortable and cosy.
Both the Safari and Hilltop Hideaway Tents are creamy 5 meters sized Bell tents, furnished inside with real beds, bedding, simple furniture and a few homely items like bedside lamps, desk fan and plug sockets for charging your phone etc.
The tents are lovely and airy with lots of netted air vents, 'safari-style'.
The family tent provides a king-size bed and two single beds.
Outside, guests can relax on the decking, listen to the birds sing and appreciate the nature around them and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine.
Guest access
The Shared cooking facilities situated in the open-air communal kitchen equipped with gas cooker fridge, sink and barbecue. You can sit at the breakfast bar or eat on the picnic tables provided.
The Luxury bathroom is a "shack" which has a flushing toilet and shower just a short walk away.
The Truck.
The Truck wasn't put together after watching Tiny Homes or Small Spaces; she is older than that. The Truck was my full-time home while bringing up my kids. (so its comforts and usability are long tried and tested) We travelled most of Europe in her, working, laughing, gathering good friends and memories along the way. Later retiring her travels here where my girls finished the last part of their education. We love her and hope you will too.
Inside the Truck is spacious and homely, with a kinda romantic feel of how simple things should be.
The Truck is an ideal space for a couples getaway, or a family of four to disconnect from everyday life. The fitted double bed and bunk bed provide a comfortable space for everyone.
The kitchen space has a full-size cooker and wash-area; there is also a full-sized fridge freezer just for your use.
There is no running water inside the Truck, but there is a tap just outside the door, enamel pitcher jug and bowl for all your washing needs-
its all part of the experience!
Off-peak self-pitch for small campervans

During our off-peak season, we open up our spacious campsite to small campervans for self-pitching. Whether you're traveling with a friend or on your own, our serene and tranquil surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for your getaway.
